  •  Romanians Form Giant Romanian Flag Outside Government Building Demanding New Leadership
Anti-corruption protests in Romania continued for a 13th consecutive day on Sunday, February 12, at Victory Square in Bucharest, the capital.Thousands of protesters gathered to demand a new government despite the Social Democrat-led government’s withdrawal of its controversial proposal to decriminalize several political corruption offenses. The protesters formed a large Romanian flag by holding up red, yellow and blue pieces of paper overhead. Video taken in Victory Square shows the portion of protesters composing the red portion of the flag. Credit: Instagram/George Ursache via Storyful via Storyful Read More
